Work Environment

This full-time position offers the unique flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with patients from the comfort of your home while being part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates daily for comprehensive patient care. Our work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the needs of our patients. As part of your role, you will maintain regular communication with colleagues via virtual platforms, ensuring that patient care remains seamless and integrated.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking support for substance use disorders.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions, such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, ensuring a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy.
• Lead group therapy sessions that provide a supportive space for shared experiences and collective healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine professionals, and other healthcare providers for integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies to safeguard patient well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery options, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise, confidential, and compliant patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to continuously enhance care practices.
• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, which may include alcohol dependence, opioid addiction, and other substance-related issues. This patient population often experiences complex psychological and social challenges, requiring a nuanced understanding of their unique backgrounds and the ability to tailor interventions accordingly. You will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and guiding clients toward sustainable recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Prior experience delivering both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a respectful and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Ability to adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort level with utilizing technology in clinical settings.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in substance use disorder treatment facilities or community health settings is highly desirable. Candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or crisis intervention techniques will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

Beautiful Minds Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, alongside potential bonuses. A sign-on bonus is also available for qualified applicants. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
