Each Beatnic Team Member that works in the back-of-house is trained on every station. Because of the nature of our service and store layout, you should anticipate working a variety of stations throughout the day.
We are a fast paced, fun and upbeat restaurant looking to hire an experienced Line Cook with an interest in learning and training others. This is a great opportunity for those willing to dedicate themselves.
Responsibilities:
Set up stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station and take care of extra food
Stock inventory
Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Position requirements:
Minimum of 1 year line cook experience required. (Will train those eager to learn)
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced, team environment.
Flexible schedule, including nights and weekend availability a must.
