Position Overview

Beacon Health Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our Arlington, Virginia location. This full-time, onsite role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

As a Physical Therapist at Beacon Health, you will work within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest technologies and treatment modalities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions, and create tailored treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise programs, and specialized equipment to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance physical function.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document all treatments, reactions, and advancements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback, ensuring that therapeutic goals remain aligned with patient needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on self-management techniques and proper body mechanics to enhance recovery and mobility, including the use of assistive devices.
• Stay current with educational workshops, professional publications, and participation in physical therapy organizations to maintain professional knowledge and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and seniors diagnosed with various physical impairments or disabilities. You will tailor your approach to accommodate the unique needs of each client, from post-operative rehab to preventative strategies for chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing and record-keeping.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different patient needs and situations, demonstrating both flexibility and agility.

Preferred Experience

• While not mandatory, at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience with home care settings or outpatient physical therapy is an added advantage.
