Job Title: Seasonal Grain Farm Operator / Farm Hand

Be-Ver Farms is a progressive, family-owned grain farming operation located near Sedley, Saskatchewan. We are gearing up for a busy seeding / harvest season and are looking for dependable, hard-working operators to join our crew. If you enjoy working with modern agricultural equipment and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate modern agricultural machinery, including combines, grain carts, air seeders, , or high-clearance sprayers.
  • Grain Handling: Safely operate augers, conveyors, and grain vacs to load and unload grain into bins and semi-trailers.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize in-cab technology, in a John Deere Format
  • Daily Maintenance: Perform routine daily maintenance on equipment, including greasing, fueling, blowing off dust/chaff, checking fluids, and assisting with minor repairs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Work Ethic & Availability: Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work long hours (often 12-16 hour days) and weekends during peak seeding / harvest windows. Weather dictates our schedule.
  • Experience: Previous experience operating large farm machinery and grain handling equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Drivers License: A valid Class 5 drivers license is required. A Class 1A or 3A license (or provincial equivalent) is a significant asset.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical labor, climbing grain bins, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in dusty and varying weather conditions.
  • Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to personal safety and the careful handling of expensive farm equipment.
