Be Bright Coffee is looking for a Cafe Leader to help lead our cafe team with care, clarity, and consistency.
This role is for someone who loves people, believes great hospitality starts with a healthy team, and knows how to bring out the best in others. While we're looking for someone who has coffee experience, we are more looking for someone who is steady, humble, supportive, and excited to help our team grow.
At Be Bright, we care deeply about excellent coffee, but we care just as much about the people serving it. Our next Cafe Leader will play a key role in building a positive team culture, supporting daily operations, and helping each team member feel equipped, encouraged, and accountable.
About the RoleThe Cafe Leader is responsible for supporting the team, guiding daily cafe operations, and helping create a cafe environment that feels organized, warm, and genuinely hospitable.
This person will work closely with ownership and leadership to uphold Be Bright’s standards while also being present on the floor with the team. The right person leads by example, communicates clearly, and understands that leadership is not about being above the team, it is about serving the team well.
This role builds on Cafe Leader responsibilities, including team development, operational oversight, coffee standards, safety, scheduling, inventory, communication, and guest experience.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Support the Team
You will help create a positive, people-centered team culture where baristas feel supported, challenged, and cared for. You’ll coach team members, give thoughtful feedback, help with onboarding and training, and model the kind of attitude and work ethic we want to see across the cafe.
Keep the Cafe Running SmoothlyYou will help oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift flow, cleanliness, communication between shifts, scheduling support, breaks, inventory, ordering, and overall workflow.
Uphold Hospitality & QualityYou will help ensure guests receive warm, thoughtful service and that drinks and food are prepared with consistency and care. While advanced coffee skills are a plus, what matters most is curiosity, willingness to learn, and the ability to help others grow.
Be a Steady PresenceCafes can move fast. We are looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, solve problems with humility, and support the team through busy or challenging moments.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $23–$25/hour, depending on experience
