Our ideal candidate is a compassionate professional committed to delivering evidence-based therapy in a supportive telehealth environment, assisting clients throughout Houston, Texas, and beyond.

About the Organization

Bayview Psychotherapy Services prides itself on providing high-quality, personalized mental health care. Our private practice is dedicated to empowering individuals facing mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression, to lead fulfilling lives. Our team of licensed therapists collaborates closely to create a culture of support, growth, and healing, utilizing an array of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Work Environment

As a remote company primarily operating through telehealth services, we harness the power of technology to fend for our clients’ mental health needs. Our virtual setup allows our counselors to efficiently conduct sessions from the comfort of their homes or preferred spaces. You will collaborate with a network of committed professionals in a confidential and supportive environment, ensuring that both counselors and clients thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using tailored therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Establish specific therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Offer teletherapy options to clients facing accessibility challenges, ensuring they receive the care they need regardless of location.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to ethical standards and organizational requirements, keeping client records secure and up-to-date.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with industry advancements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our client-focused approach ensures that every individual receives tailored treatment aimed at fostering personal growth, emotional resilience, and lasting change.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude when interacting with clients.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills to manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practice, preferably within a private practice setting.
  • A background in working with diverse populations, understanding various cultural contexts in mental health.
  • Knowledge of treatment modalities applicable to specific client needs and challenges.
Compensation and Benefits

The competitive compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on your caseload and experience. We offer numerous benefits including:

  • Administrative support for scheduling, billing, and insurance processing to streamline workflow.
  • Continuing education reimbursement to promote professional development and ensure ongoing growth.
  • Referral opportunities that encourage collaboration among peers and the possibility to expand your clientele.
  • Flexible work hours designed to accommodate your schedule, promoting work-life balance.
