Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individual treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Creating pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to inform treatment decisions consistently and effectively.
• Participating in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensuring compliance with state regulations through timely and accurate documentation maintaining high standards for clinical records.
• Acting as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance the support network for clients.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and relevant meetings to stay informed on best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
