Job description

Job Summary:
Bay Ridge Subaru, a reputable and fast-paced car dealership in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking to hire experienced Automotive Service Technicians (Flat Rate- A, B, or C) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of automotive systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for providing quality service to our customers. As a Flat Rate Technician at Bay Ridge Subaru, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in which you will be compensated generously for your skills and hard work.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $50,000 to $100,000+ per year, paid weekly

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance services, including but not limited to engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical system repairs
  • Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure quality repairs
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and address mechanical and electrical issues
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
  • Keep a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on new vehicle models and technologies

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician; Subaru experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have your own tools
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
