Store Manager Description:Lead retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals. Positively contribute to growth and development of team through training communication, recognition and support.Store Manager Duties:Sales FunctionsPersonnel ManagementDevelop and supervise Store AssociatesProvide training, coaching, development and recognitionPerform consultative sales transactions on the sales floorAnswer customer inquiries on the phone or via emailPerform battery installation services on vehicles, smart devices, watches, remotes, laptops, etc.Perform Device repair services on smart phones and tabletsEnsure staff completes and renews all necessary certificationsPerform timely evaluations and implement progressive disciplineDevelop team for future rolesDemonstrate, train and enforce all safety rules and regulations and company policiesPlace orders for merchandise and perform/delegate inventory control dutiesProvision and upkeep of a well stocked, safe, clean, and organized storeAllocation and upkeep of necessary supplies for operationsEnsure commercial and retail selling programs and promotions are demonstrated, taught and executedGenerate leads for commercial customersProvide service and follow-up to commercial customers at acceptable service levelsLoad, drive, and make deliveries/coordinate deliveries with warehouse manager, prepare and ship deliveries via third party delivery companiesStore Manager QualificationsMinimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management preferredMinimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods settingStrong oral and written communication skillsAble to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous mannerAbility to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlinesStrong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics.
