Our team members are problem-solvers, tech-savvy, and focused on providing exceptional service.Position SummaryThe Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, including leading a team, driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer service. This individual plays a key leadership role in building a performance-driven culture that aligns with Batteries Plus' mission and values.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing team.Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.Foster a positive and productive team environment.Sales & Customer Service:Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.Ensure every customer receives outstanding service through all touchpoints.Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.Store Operations:Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance.Maintain accurate records for sales, labor, scheduling, and inventory.Ensure proper execution of safety and security procedures.Financial Management:Monitor and control expenses to meet or exceed budget goals.Accurately process daily transactions and bank deposits.Utilize reports and KPIs to identify areas of improvement.Technical Services:Support and oversee technical services such as device repair and battery testing/installation.Ensure all team members are properly trained on technical services and safety protocols.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment preferredStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidaysMust be able to lift 50+ pounds Technical aptitude with interest in electronics, repair, or automotive a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusPaid time off Employee discountsOpportunities for advancement within a growing companyOngoing training and developmentBatteries Plus is an equal opportunity employer.
