Baton Rouge Multidisciplinary Medical Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic, patient centered environment!

PART TIME - 24-27 HOURS EVERY OTHER WEEK
Tuesdays- 8-9 hours
Wednesdays - 8-9 hours 
Thursdays - 8-9 hours
 

We specialize in acute pain and musculoskeletal injuries. Our multidisciplinary approach combines innovative treatments and care to help patients regain their quality of life!

Experience in musculoskeletal injuries is a plus, but not required!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with pain-related conditions/injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Prescribe necessary medications.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare team physicians.
• Order advanced imaging as necessary.
• Provide patient education on interventional pain strategies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Start and administer IV hydration therapy services.
• Evaluate patients for weight loss injections.
• Optional: Perform aesthetic procedures; clinic is equipped for such services.

Qualifications:

• Valid FNP license in Louisiana.
• Experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, or other injury care preferred (New graduates with a passion for interventional pain are encouraged to apply).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Dedication to improving patients' quality of life.
• Aesthetics Certification is welcome, but not required.

We are a leading interventional pain medical clinic specializing in treating patients who have been involved in auto or on-the-job accidents. Our dedicated team comprises two experienced orthopedic surgeons, two skilled interventional pain medicine specialists, a nurse practitioner, a speech-language pathologist and a PT. With a strong focus on patient care and recovery, we have established a comprehensive concussion diagnostics and rehabilitation program. Our facility also is equipped for aesthetics procedures, IV hydration therapies, and a weight loss program including injections.
