About the Opportunity

We are opening a new ASAM Level 3.7 and 3.5 residential treatment center in Marshall, Missouri, providing 24-hour medically monitored and clinically managed care to adults recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Batlin Recovery Center is looking for an inpatient RN in Missouri to  provide direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders in a residential or inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Assess patients to determine substance use history, withdrawal risk, and overall physical and mental health needs.

·       Monitor vital signs and symptoms of withdrawal, administer prescribed medications, and assist with detox protocols.

·       Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient treatment plans.

·       Provide patient and family education regarding substance use disorders, recovery processes, and medication management.

·       Document patient care activities, medication administration, and progress notes in accordance with state and facility policies.

·       Participate in care team meetings and advocate for patient needs and safety.

·       Support patients with daily living activities and emotional support throughout treatment and recovery.

Qualifications

 

·       Active Missouri RN license required.

·       Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse, or inpatient healthcare setting preferred.

·       Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills to manage complex patient needs.

·       Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·       Understanding of medication-assisted treatment protocols (MAT) a plus.

Work Environment

 

·       Inpatient/residential SUD treatment facilities with 24-hour nursing coverage, including observation for detoxification as required.

·       Direct patient contact, collaboration with multidisciplinary team, adherence to the highest standards for patient safety and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and be on their feet for long portions of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
