Basking Ridge Veterinary Management

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take x-rays of animals as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a veterinary technician program preferred
- Certification as a veterinary technician is a plus
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred. Salary negotiable for 3 + years of veterinary technician experience and/or certification.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary team members
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
