BarleyBean is a specialty coffee shop and food concept based in Austin, Texas, focused on quality, consistency, and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add experienced and motivated Cooks / Pizza Makers to our kitchen team. We’re growing our team and hiring experienced Cooks to support daily kitchen operations. This role focuses on food prep, pizza making, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly during high-volume service periods.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to BarleyBean standards
• Assist with pizza preparation, dough handling, and assembly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Restock and prep ingredients for daily service
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Support team members and maintain a positive kitchen environment
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties

• Previous kitchen, line cook, or food service experience preferred
• Experience working with pizza and dough is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to quality and consistency
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
• Flexible schedule with weekend availability required
• Food Handler Certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• TABC Certification preferred for employees handling alcohol-related service or support
