Job description:

At Barkada, we’re building a kitchen rooted in community, culture, and great food. We’re

looking for a reliable Prep Cook who takes pride in organization, consistency, and supporting the team behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

• Wash, cut, and prep ingredients according to recipes and daily prep lists
• Portion meats, seafood, sauces, and produce with consistency
• Keep prep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Label, store, and rotate ingredients properly (FIFO)
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory
• Support the line when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Organized, efficient, and able to manage time well
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Reliable and consistent

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods
• Able to lift and carry 40–50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
