We are a neighborhood bakery and cafe with two locations in Brooklyn and one in Ridgewood-Queens, serving fresh baked goods, made to order breakfast and specialty coffee every morning into early afternoon. We are currently looking to hire a part-time Bread Baker for our RIDGEWOOD QUEENS location. We look for candidates who are passionate about good food, work well in a team environment as well as independently. You must have at least one year experience working in a professional kitchen baking sourdough bread, the ability to multi task, be highly organized, willing and able to stand for 8 hours, lift 50lb and can commit to working early morning hours with a start time at *4:00 AM*. DOH license and knowledge of Spanish language not required but a plus. Ridgewood is a small house, there is a lot of cross-training available as well.
