Job Summary:
Babel is a multinational technology consulting firm specializing in digital acceleration services for large companies and public organizations. They are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the operation, support, and optimization of critical platforms with a focus on webMethods, Linux, Windows Server, and Oracle, ensuring high availability and performance of services.
Responsibilities:
• Administrar y dar soporte a plataformas webMethods (Integration Server, API Gateway, UM).
• Gestionar servidores Linux y Windows en entornos productivos, QA y DEV.
• Administrar y optimizar bases de datos Oracle.
• Implementar monitoreo end-to-end con Dynatrace o herramientas similares.
• Conocimiento sobre balanceadores tipo F5 (deseable).
• Diagnosticar problemas de red y protocolos (HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS).
• Gestionar controles de seguridad perimetral (firewalls, WAF, VPN).
• Atender incidentes bajo marco ITIL.
• Ejecutar análisis de causa raíz (RCA) con metodologías como 5 Whys e Ishikawa.
Qualifications:
Required:
• +5 años de experiencia en infraestructura.
• Experiencia sólida en webMethods, Linux, Windows y Oracle.
• Conocimiento en Dynatrace u otras herramientas similares para monitoreo de aplicaciones.
• Experiencia en redes, protocolos y troubleshooting.
• Conocimientos básicos de ITIL y gestión de incidentes.
• Estudios a nivel ingeniería o licenciatura en computación o informática.
Preferred:
• Conocimiento sobre balanceadores tipo F5 (deseable).
