BOATMAN CONSTRUCTION

The Commercial Construction Project Manager will oversee small teams of 1-5 members, managing diverse commercial construction projects such as office buildings, mixed-use developments, adult living facilities, and surgical centers. This role requires coordinating project planning, budgets, schedules, and quality control while effectively communicating with stakeholders. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Procore is essential, and occasional travel (up to 25%) is expected to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute commercial construction projects from initiation to completion
• Manage project budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets
• Coordinate schedules and resources to meet project timelines
• Lead and oversee small project teams of 1-5 members
• Maintain quality assurance and control standards throughout the project
• Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders regularly
• Prepare and deliver progress reports and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficient in construction project management, budgeting, and cost control
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management
• Skilled in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
• Strong leadership and quality assurance capabilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable daily transportation
