Bibi Eatery

The Cashier is responsible for handling payment transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves interacting with customers, managing inventory, cash and credit card payments, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment at Bibi Eatery.

• Greet customers warmly and courteously, using their names whenever possible.
• Operate the cash register and compute accurate totals for purchases.
• Accept and process payments via cash, checks, and credit cards, ensuring accurate change and receipts are provided.
• Handle returns and process refunds or credits promptly and professionally.
• Reconcile the cash register at the end of the shift, ensuring accuracy in cash and receipts.
• Prepare and produce reports as requested by management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
• Provide information about menu items and answer customer questions knowledgeably.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support the team.

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and approachable in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with payment processing methods, including cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Proficiency in basic math and accuracy with figures.
• Creative and flexible team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus.
• A polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Must be fluent in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
