We are seeking team members that will bring their UNIQUE skill set. That is highly versatile, capable of switching gears, and producing informative easy to read drawings in a short amount of time.
Each engineer is required to lead a project from beginning to end through all phases of development into final install.
You will be responsible for production and project management of individual custom items. Included but not limited to:
Convert Sketchup/AutoCAD design concepts into manufacturing blueprints using SolidWorks.
Calculate static and dynamic loads.
Create 3D Models and shop drawings (broken down into logical sub-assemblies), Bill of Materials, and CNC cut files.
Estimate material needs early in design to track anticipated spending.
Coordinate with designers, structural engineers, fabricators, purchasing, and outside vendors.
Production Planning - Define and calculate project requirements, source materials, components, and hardware. Outline fabrication methods and install plan.
Design jigs and templates to aid the fabrication process.
Project Management - Redline shop drawings and help troubleshoot issues during fabrication/installation. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Every team member is required to support others, whether its scheduled help or stepping in when they need it.
Clear communication and ability to prioritize are crucial to keep the team going.
