The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently handling local deliveries of frozen food products, using standard and refrigerated box trucks. This solo-driving role requires expertise in navigating routes, loading cargo securely, and maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service without overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Navigate local delivery routes efficiently and safely
• Load and unload cargo ensuring proper handling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance regulations
• Manage delivery schedules to meet time requirements
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in commercial driving
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven skills in route navigation and time management
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices
• Strong communication abilities
• Familiarity with safety compliance standards
