B&D Auctions is seeking a dependable, hardworking Operations Generalist to support all areas of our fast-paced online auction business.
This is a hands-on, all-in role that includes office operations, customer service, photography, warehouse work, shipping, and estate cleanouts. What You’ll Do

  •  Assist with phones, emails, and in-person customer service in a professional and courteous manner 
  •  Handle payments and cash with accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail 
  •  Photograph auction items with care and an eye for presentation 
  •  Support cataloging, organization, and inventory flow 
  •  Assist with packing and shipping auction items safely and efficiently
  •  Prepare shipments, handle materials, and help ensure orders go out accurately 
  •  Assist with pickups, estate cleanouts, and house calls 
  •  Prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  •  Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, with team lifting for heavier items 
  •  Frequent movement of furniture, totes, and inventory 
  •  Participation in estate cleanouts and house calls, including stairs, basements, and tight spaces 
  •  Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day 
  •  Warehouse is a converted horse barn and is not climate controlled. Conditions can be hot, cold, and dusty 
  •  Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a shared responsibility 
Preferred but Not Required

  •  Experience selling on eBay or similar platforms 
  •  Interest in antiques, collectibles, or history 
We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a desire to learn.
