We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Avir at Alice in Alice, TX. As a key member of our dietary staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist the dietary team with meal preparation, service, and cleaning
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
Monitor and report any food allergies, special dietary needs, or concerns to the dietary team
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving supplies
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless service
Perform other related duties as assigned by the dietary manager
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy
