AVIR at Alice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys providing quality patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents achieve their highest level of functional independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.

• Provide skilled physical therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care.

• Implement therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, gait training, transfer training, and functional activities.

• Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Provide education to residents and caregivers regarding mobility, safety, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.

• Collaborate with PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs to the appropriate team members.

• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred.

• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
