About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Avir Health Group- AI Test in Temple, Texas. As an LVN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our patients, while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring

• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other ancillary staff

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Charge Nurse or other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including medical charts and medication records

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain staff education and training programs

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Nurse License

• Valid CPR Certification

• I.V. Certification preferred

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
