Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
• Treat a wide array of patients, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports medicine clients, adapting techniques to suit their unique conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality therapeutic care, maximizing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Engage with patients' families, providing education and support to enhance understanding of treatment protocols and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with physician directives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Avecina Physical Therapy, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including children, athletes, and adults recovering from various physical challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is a requirement.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee is necessary.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience is essential for this role.
• Current CPR certification to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for effective patient interaction.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic documentation to streamline administrative tasks.
• Ability to foster meaningful relationships with patients, promoting open communication and trust.
• A genuine desire to connect with individuals and support them through their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with additional specialties in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, or post-operative rehabilitation will be highly valued. Experience working in a private practice setting is also beneficial.
