Job description

About the Role:
Autobyzack INC is looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX! This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in our dealership operations by ensuring smooth and accurate vehicle title processing. Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit vehicle titles, registrations, and lien releases accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to ensure compliance with state titling requirements
  • Maintain and organize title files, deal jackets, and related documentation
  • Communicate with lenders, finance companies, and customers regarding title status and outstanding issues
  • Audit title documents for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
  • Track and follow up on missing or delayed titles to minimize aged title inventory
  • Support the finance and accounting departments with title-related record keeping
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an automotive title clerk or in a dealership title/DMV role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Texas DMV titling and registration processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for working with lenders, customers, and internal teams
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
