Job description
Salaried position plus profit sharing designed to significantly increase overall compensation tailored to your desired outcome.
This job's location is in Colleyville, TX. The position will require that you are able and willing to commute to Colleyville, TX.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, strategic direction, and supervisory oversight for all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within the clinic. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care, leads staff development, manages complex client cases, and maintains compliance with BACB guidelines, state regulations, and insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Leadership & Quality Control
- Oversee treatment design, assessment execution, and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) across all active cases.
- Conduct systematic documentation and clinical audits to maintain high treatment standards and prevent claim denials.
- Monitor company-wide client progress data and step in to review non-progressing cases or complex behavioral challenges.
- Act as the final clinical escalation point for complex ethical questions or caregiver concerns.
2. Staff Supervision & Professional Development
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate practicing BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs.
- Ensure strict compliance with BACB supervision requirements (e.g., maintaining monthly supervision threshold for RBTs).
- At your sole and absolute discretion, design and lead onboarding programs, in-service trainings, and learning workshops.
- Manage clinical caseload distribution to prevent burnout and ensure proper clinical matching.
3. Operational & Financial Alignment
- Partner with operational leaders to balance clinical excellence with outsourced administrative requirements.
- Review outsourced assessment reports for accuracy prior to payer deadlines.
- Participate in clinician hiring, candidate interviews, and intake capacity planning.
4. Compliance & Ethics
- Serve as the designated Quality Assurance and Ethics Officer for the facility.
- Maintain full compliance with HIPAA standards, state licensing mandates, and the BACB Ethics Code.
Key Qualifications
CategoryRequirement
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
Certification & Licensure Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB. Active State License to practice behavior analysis
Tech / Systems Proficiency with ABA practice management systems (CentralReach), EHRs, and data tracking software.
Core Competencies & Soft Skills
Conflict Resolution: Ability to mediate disputes between clinicians, operations, and families professionally.
Empathetic Leadership: Mentors junior analysts and fosters an inclusive, supportive staff culture to drive retention.
