Job description

AMAT Healthcare Institute is seeking a motivated, professional, and student-focused Admissions Representative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping prospective students achieve their educational and career goals while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Position Summary

The Admissions Representative serves as the first point of contact for prospective students and is responsible for guiding applicants through the admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, goal-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with all institutional and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to prospective student inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person.
  • Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about the school's programs and services.
  • Explain admission requirements, program schedules, tuition, and enrollment procedures.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process and assist with completing required documentation.
  • Follow up with prospective students to encourage successful enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate student records and notes in the school's student information system (SIS/CRM).
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid, Student Services, Registrar, and Academic Departments to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
  • Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and community outreach activities.
  • Meet established enrollment goals while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all school policies and applicable New York State Department of Education, accrediting agency, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in admissions, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
