Job description
Aurora Advisory Group (AAG) is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Director to develop and strengthen partnerships across the pediatric healthcare market. This role is responsible for building authentic, trust-based relationships with owners and leaders of pediatric healthcare organizations and guiding the right partners toward working with AAG.
This is not a transactional sales role. AAG is entrusted with some of the most critical aspects of a healthcare organization—including revenue cycle management, compliance, payer relationships, operations, and people. Those relationships are earned through credibility, honest counsel, and a genuine understanding of each organization's goals and challenges.
The ideal candidate is a thoughtful listener, a trusted advisor, and a confident communicator who values long-term relationships over quick wins. They understand healthcare operations, communicate with integrity, and are comfortable recommending against engagement when AAG is not the right fit.
Our Approach to GrowthOur business development philosophy centers on building lasting partnerships—not simply generating sales.
- Relationships before transactions: We invest in meaningful relationships regardless of immediate opportunity, knowing trust often develops over months or years.
- Trust is our greatest asset: We earn confidence before discussing services by demonstrating expertise, consistency, and genuine care.
- Lead with value: Every conversation should leave a prospective client better informed, whether or not they ever engage AAG.
- Quality over quantity: A smaller network of trusted relationships is more valuable than highvolume outreach.
- Rightfit partnerships matter: We prioritize longterm success over signing every opportunity, recognizing that the wrong client benefits neither organization.
- Patience over pressure: We do not rely on aggressive sales tactics, artificial urgency, or quotadriven behavior. Long sales cycles are expected and supported. About Aurora Advisory Group

- Lead thoughtful discovery conversations to understand operational challenges involving billing, compliance, staffing, payer relationships, authorizations, and organizational growth.
- Listen first, diagnose needs, and recommend solutions tailored to each organization's priorities.
