Work Environment

This position is situated onsite at our hospital facility, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to orthopedic patient care. With a patient-centric approach, we create a healing atmosphere that encourages open communication and teamwork. The typical work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, which may include variable weekends, allowing for flexibility and patient accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and continuously assess treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, progress, and preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare professionals regarding the ongoing care of patients.
• Participate in departmental leadership activities, including community outreach and program development.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides.
• Stay current with professional knowledge through continuing education and participation in in-service training programs.

As a Physical Therapist at Atmore Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population. Our clients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and rehabilitation after accidents. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and basic computer programs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional clinical experience in an orthopedic setting are highly preferred. Familiarity with patient management systems and therapeutic modalities will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Atmore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
