Atlas NextWave is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our client's jack-up vessel in the United States on an ongoing 4 x 4 rotation, commencing 8th September. Due to the location of the vessel suitable candidates must be in possession of a B1 OCS visa
Please note that the initial trip may be slightly longer than the standard rotation to allow for familiarisation and onboarding.

Atlas NextWave is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our client's jack-up vessel in the United States on an ongoing 4 x 4 rotation, commencing 8th September. Due to the location of the vessel suitable candidates must be in possession of a B1 OCS visa
Please note that the initial trip may be slightly longer than the standard rotation to allow for familiarisation and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform crane and lifting operations in accordance with approved procedures
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise deck and lifting activities
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of deck equipment, including cranes, lifesaving appliances (LSA) and firefighting equipment (FFE)
- Record inspections and maintenance activities within company management systems
- Lead the helideck team and ensure safe helicopter operations
- Ensure effective shift handovers
- Act as the focal point for client logistics activities
- Manage chemicals and stock within the deck department
- Participate in emergency response duties, including lifeboat operations, fire team activities, and other emergency preparedness requirements
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence at all times
- G5 Crane Operator Certificate / UK Stage 3
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET/FOET)
- HLO qualification with previous HLO experience
- Lifeboat and MOB Boat Certificate
- Fire Team Leader Training
- Proficiency in Security Duties
- VHF Radio Certificate
- Previous experience onboard offshore drilling rigs or accommodation units
