SEASONAL CDL-A HARVEST DRIVER – 2026 CORN HARVEST

Atlantic Pacific Inc. is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for our 2026 corn-harvest transportation assignment. Atlantic Pacific has been operating since 2017 and this will be our 4th consecutive year partnering with Corteva for the harvest season.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

• Expected season: approximately September 10 through October 30, 2026
• Exact start and completion dates may shift by several days depending on weather, crop readiness and customer operations
• Harvest operations run 7 days per week during the season
• Full-season commitment is required
• Primary route: Plymouth, IN ↔ Worthington, IN
• Approximately 400 roundtrip miles
• Target: approximately one completed roundtrip per scheduled workday, subject to lawful Hours of Service and customer operations
• When operating conditions and HOS allow, there may be opportunities for an additional roundtrip on certain days
• Operational needs may occasionally require reassignment to the Constantine, MI ↔ St. Joseph, IL route, approximately 500 roundtrip miles

PAY

• $1.00 per approved route mile, loaded and empty
• Approximately $400 gross per completed Plymouth roundtrip
• Estimated normal weekly gross: approximately $2,400–$2,800
• $200 qualifying minimum/layover on applicable days when a delivery cannot be completed because of circumstances outside the driver’s control, such as weather, crop readiness, harvesting-equipment breakdowns or plant delays
• $0.50 per approved mile for initial and final trailer/equipment repositioning movements
• Weekly statements Wednesday; payment initiated Thursday

Actual mileage and earnings depend on dispatch, weather, crop readiness, customer operations, equipment availability and lawful Hours of Service and are not guaranteed.

EQUIPMENT & OPERATIONS

• 2023 or newer automatic sleeper tractor
• Equipment may include Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Mack or Volvo
• Aulick belt trailers
• Company fuel card
• Drivers will sleep in the sleeper tractor during the assignment
• Trailers are picked up and returned in Mediapolis, IA
• Smartphone required for QR-code field locations, training materials and submission of BOLs/slips by text and email

ORIENTATION & TRAVEL

Orientation and truck pickup will take place approximately one day before the assignment begins at Atlantic Pacific Inc. headquarters:

Eligible out-of-area hires may receive up to $500 in approved travel reimbursement with supporting receipts.

After orientation and truck pickup, drivers will travel to Mediapolis, IA to pick up their assigned belt trailer before proceeding to the harvest operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class A CDL
• Strong verifiable tractor-trailer experience; 5+ years preferred
• Acceptable MVR and PSP under company/insurer standards
• FMCSA Clearinghouse eligibility
• Required DOT pre-employment qualification procedures
• Ability to comply with customer-site PPE and safety requirements
• Ability to attend Waukegan orientation and truck pickup
• Ability to pick up and return the assigned trailer in Mediapolis, IA
• Professional, respectful communication and reliable attendance
• Full-season availability

Previous corn-harvest, agricultural-hauling, belt-trailer, walking-floor or live-floor experience is a plus.

EMPLOYMENT OPTIONS

W-2 or 1099 options may be available.
