Atlantic Coast Hauling is looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Yard Supervisor to take a leadership role in our fast-paced intermodal and logistics operation.

We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, think on their feet, hold people accountable, and take pride in a job well done.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the Yard: Direct daily yard activities and coordinate employees, equipment, freight, and priorities to keep operations running smoothly.
• Keep Freight Moving: Coordinate loading, unloading, staging, transloading, blocking, bracing, lashing, and movement of freight as needed.
• Coordinate Equipment: Oversee the safe and efficient use of forklifts, cranes, yard trucks, and other equipment.
• Own Safety: Make safety a priority every day. Ensure employees follow PPE requirements, equipment procedures, company policies, and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements.

We are a transloading, warehousing, and drayage business, storing and draying both cargo and shipping containers to and from the Ports of Virginia. Our warehouse and storage yard are located a few miles from the Virginia International Gateway port, in Portsmouth VA. We handle all types of cargo, including overweight, breakbulk, out of gauge, and over-dimensional.
