Role Description
As a Hospice Volunteer, you will:

• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music, or presence

• Support family caregivers with respite breaks

• Assist with light errands or office support (depending on role)

• Participate in special projects, events, or community outreach

• Offer comfort and dignity to patients and families during a difficult journey

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Compassionate, reliable, and respectful of patient/family needs

• Able to complete required orientation and training

• Willing to undergo background check, TB screening, and reference check

• No prior healthcare experience necessary — we provide training and ongoing support
