About Us
At Twilight Hospice & Palliative Care, we believe in providing compassionate care, dignity, and comfort to patients and families at the end of life. Volunteers are a vital part of our team, offering support, companionship, and a human touch that makes a profound difference.
Role Description
As a Hospice Volunteer, you will:
Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music, or presence
Support family caregivers with respite breaks
Assist with light errands or office support (depending on role)
Participate in special projects, events, or community outreach
Offer comfort and dignity to patients and families during a difficult journey
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Compassionate, reliable, and respectful of patient/family needs
Able to complete required orientation and training
Willing to undergo background check, TB screening, and reference check
No prior healthcare experience necessary — we provide training and ongoing support
