    Registered Veterinary Technician  (Full-Time)
    Location: Ft. Harrison Veterinarians - Lawrence Village, Indiana

    Ft. Harrison Veterinarians is looking for a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our single doctor, progressive practice. We are currently offering a $1,500 Bonus for qualified full-time candidates! This role is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician position.

    For over 30 years, Ft. Harrison Veterinarians has been a trusted partner in pet care for the community. We maintain a small clinic feel while offering the advanced diagnostics and services of a larger facility.

    Responsibilities

    As a Registered Veterinary Technician, your duties will include:

    • Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries.
    • Training and educating Assistants in restraint, appointment flow, and client education.
    • Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.
    • Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, bloodwork, and urinalysis.
    • Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
    • Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography.
    • Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
    • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

    Requirements

    Qualifications
    • Experience: Registered Veterinary Technician is required.
    • Skills: Strong surgical, diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities.
    • Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care and education.
    • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
    • Must be able to work Tuesdays (surgery day)
