Job Title: Commercial Building Engineer

We are a leading property management/real estate firm dedicated to maintaining top-tier, efficient, and safe environments for our tenants. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Building Engineer to oversee the daily operations, preventative maintenance, and physical upkeep of our premier facility.

The Role
As our Building Engineer, you will be the backbone of our property's operations. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Sprinkler and HVAC systems. You will ensure our building runs at peak efficiency, reducing operational costs and enhancing tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Commercial HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing repair, electrical systems, lighting maintenance.
• ·Repairs & Installation: Carpentry, drywall patching, painting, flooring installation, fixture mounting.
• Building Operations: Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and energy management controls to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Tenant Requests: Respond promptly to tenant service requests and resolve physical deficiencies.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all facility operations adhere to fire, life safety, and local building codes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in commercial or multi-family building maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, sprinkler and plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools to perform carpentry and painting repairs, ensuring high-quality, professional finishes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
