Experienced Pool Service Technician – Part-Time | W-2 or 1099

Aspen Pool Repair & Service – Gilbert / East Valley, AZ

We are looking for a dependable, experienced Pool Service Technician to join our growing pool service and repair company.

This is not an entry-level position. Minimum 1 year of professional pool service experience is required.

This position may be structured as either a part-time W-2 employee position or a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, depending on experience, availability, and the nature of the working arrangement.

We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to work, is mechanically inclined, takes pride in doing the job right, and can handle pool service responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly residential pool service
• Test and properly balance water chemistry
• Brush, skim, empty baskets, and maintain pools
• Clean cartridge and DE filters as needed ($$ extra pay for this)
• Inspect pumps, filters, cleaners, salt systems, and other pool equipment
• Identify and report equipment problems
• Perform basic troubleshooting when needed
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Keep pools and equipment areas clean and organized

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year professional pool service experience
• Must have a reliable truck suitable for pool service work
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable around pool equipment
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and stay on schedule
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona heat
• Able to lift and carry pool chemicals, filters, equipment, and supplies

Position

• Part-time
• W-2 employment or 1099 independent contractor arrangement may be available
• Residential pools in Gilbert and the East Valley
• Opportunity for additional work as we grow
• Additional repair work may be available depending on experience and ability
• Potential for increased responsibility for the right person
