Job description

Duties This position is located with the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to direct the development, coordination, and implementation of procedural changes; to direct the performance of management/program analysis for the logistic activities under the jurisdiction of the USPFO; and to direct acquisition, accountability, incoming, outgoing and formal transfer of logistic asset for the USPFO in support of the Federal and state mission. Position is responsible for the management, direction, and supervision of employees. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Requirements Conditions of employment * ARIZONA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Prior to appointment into this position, selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Army National Guard, in a military organization supported by the USPFO. * This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement. * Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. * Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. * Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement. * Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. * Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. * May be required to successfully complete a trial period. * Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. * Incumbent must possess and maintain a current state driver's license. Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: SFC/E-7 to SGM/CSM/E-9 Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC [SSG/E6 to SGM/CSM/E9] Warrant Officer: WO1/W-1 to CW4/W-4 Officer Candidate: OCS [SSG/E6 to SGM/CSM/E9] Officer: 2LT/O-1 to CPT/O-3 Compatible Military Assignments: Possess or able to obtain Enlisted: Immaterial Warrant Officer Candidate: 09W [and 92 or 88 Series] Warrant Officer: 920A or 920B Officer Candidate: 09S [and 92 or 88 Series] Officer: 90A, 91A, 92A or 88A SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade. Supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Experience which includes leading, directing, and assigning work of personnel. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
