Job description

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded Vancouver law firm, is seeking a Corporate Services Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collegial, supportive environment that offers flexibility to accommodate both individual and firm needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual resolutions for BC companies, federal corporations, and societies
  • Review and coordinate filings of annual reports and corporate records for extra-provincial corporations
  • Assist with day-to-day corporate transactions, including director and officer changes, share allotments and transfers, redemptions, and dividend declarations
  • Conduct due diligence reviews of basic corporate records
  • Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation
  • Respond to inquiries from lawyers, clients, and corporate registries
  • Provide additional corporate services support as required

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Corporate Services Paralegal role
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
  • Demonstrates energy, commitment, curiosity, and creativity
