Archway Physical Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our Rehabilitation Center located in beautiful Punta Gorda, Florida. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, encompassing a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting all findings accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate patient and family input, outlining clear goals and treatment strategies aligned with best practices.
  • Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting techniques based on patient progress, emerging healthcare guidelines, and the dynamic rehabilitation landscape.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and adjust care plans based on clinical feedback.
  • Maintain accurate patient records including focused evaluation notes, daily encounter documentation, progress summaries, and thorough discharge evaluations.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills to meet productivity criteria while ensuring timely and professional communication with patients and their families.
  • Engage actively in departmental and organizational team goals, complying with relevant governmental and accreditation standards.
  • Pursue ongoing professional education to enhance clinical competencies and serve as a clinical instructor for students as needed.
  • Ensure patients receive excellent customer service through flexible scheduling and a responsive approach to care delivery.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving patient access to services and analyze site-specific performance data to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers around a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from post-surgical conditions, those with chronic pain, athletes requiring rehabilitation, and elderly patients seeking improved mobility and independence. Our team members are equipped to provide specialized care that adapts to each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that cater to a wide range of physical therapy needs.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree are highly preferred.
  • A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is necessary.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and a philosophy of continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
  • Experience in diverse therapeutic methodologies, including manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises is advantageous.
  • Background in community health initiatives or marketing within healthcare settings is a plus.
