Position Summary

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is seeking skilled, safety-focused Electricians to support large-scale data center construction projects throughout the United States. This position is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning electrical systems associated with mission-critical facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience working on commercial, industrial, or data center projects and can work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Travel may be required depending on project assignments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Electrical Installation

Install conduit systems including EMT, RMC, IMC, PVC, and cable tray systems.

Pull, route, and terminate power, grounding, and control cables.

Install switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, generators, and associated equipment.

Install lighting systems and branch circuitry.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Perform equipment terminations according to manufacturer requirements.

Data Center Construction Support

Support construction and commissioning of mission-critical electrical infrastructure.

Assist with startup, testing, and energization activities.

Maintain strict adherence to project quality standards.

Coordinate work with other trades and project teams.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all OSHA, client, and site-specific safety requirements.

Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.

Utilize proper PPE at all times.

Report unsafe conditions immediately.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Quality Control

Verify installations meet project specifications.

Complete punch list items promptly.

Assist with inspections and quality audits.

Maintain accurate documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Reliable transportation to and from project sites.

Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements.

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Data center construction experience.

Mission-critical facility experience.

Journeyman Electrician License (where applicable).

Master

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.

NFPA 70E Training.

CPR / First Aid Certification.

Experience with commissioning activities.

Experience working on projects for Meta, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, AWS, or other hyperscale clients.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.

Ability to work at heights utilizing ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.

Travel Requirements

Up to 100% travel depending on project assignment.

Ability to work extended schedules including:

50โ€“70+ hour work weeks

Day shift or night shift

Rotational schedules as required by the client
