Responsibilities:
• Architect and drive complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to production, with a focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Set technical direction for core platform systems, making informed trade-offs to ensure performance, security, and reliability at scale.
• Partner with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver high-impact features end to end, influencing roadmap decisions with technical insight.
• Mentor and level up engineers across the team through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on technical guidance.
• Identify and resolve systemic engineering challenges, including technical debt, infrastructure gaps, and cross-team bottlenecks that impact velocity.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience building and scaling web-based software products.
• A track record of owning and delivering complex technical projects with measurable cross-team impact.
• Deep expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, or large-scale backend architecture.
• Experience influencing technical direction and driving alignment across teams without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills — you can articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
• Experience in the fintech space or building on investment platforms.
• Prior experience as a founding or early-stage engineer at a fast-growing startup.
