Ophthalmologist – Alaska

Arc Health Justice is seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care in Alaska.

Position Highlights
  • Location: Alaska
  • Comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology
  • Collaborative Eye Clinic and Optometry team
  • Clinical, surgical, and postoperative care

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic testing
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases, disorders, and injuries
  • Provide ophthalmology consultations
  • Perform cataract, glaucoma, corneal, refractive, vitreoretinal, eye muscle, and oculoplastic procedures as appropriate
  • Perform ophthalmic laser procedures
  • Provide postoperative care and follow-up
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, lenses, and other treatments
  • Educate patients on eye health and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, optometrists, and clinical staff
  • Participate in outreach clinics as needed
