Job description

Are you an experienced plumber looking for a company where you can spend your day plumbing instead of worrying about finding the next job?

Apollo Plumbing is looking for a licensed Journeyperson Plumber to join our residential service team.

We have an established customer base, steady year-round work, and an experienced team. We’re looking for a plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and is comfortable handling service calls independently.

Our service plumbers diagnose problems, perform repairs and installations, and take care of customers without pressure to sell unnecessary work or generate leads.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial properties.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
  • Perform plumbing service work using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other trade-related equipment.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues, deficiencies and necessary repairs.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service while clearly explaining plumbing issues and recommended solutions.
  • Complete service orders assigned by the Dispatcher in a timely manner and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle.
  • Keep tools and equipment in safe operating condition and follow company safety procedures.
  • Stay current on plumbing methods, products, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with a valid plumbing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a journeyperson plumber.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and plumbing troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with a variety of piping materials, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and pipe-threading equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to perform the physical duties associated with residential service plumbing.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary.
