Responsibilities:
- Accept, verify, inspect, and record warehouse deliveries according to policy.
- Receive orders and retrieve goods from the warehouse.
- Check the packing list for accuracy and inspect collected goods.
- Deliver materials to the packing desk for packing and update the computer ordering system.
- Oversee proper packaging and labeling of goods to be shipped.
- Operate an order-picker truck to pull orders when needed.
- Follow safety rules for the warehouse when picking an order.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
- Strong reading and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
