Position Overview

The Anxiety Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers flexible scheduling either through 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing vital support to our clients. Our compensation package is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000, and eligible candidates can also receive a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address clients' needs.
• Conduct thorough interviews with clients to gather and assess relevant social, personal, environmental, and health information, using this data to influence treatment planning.
• Evaluate clients to identify problems within the realm of your training and expertise, implementing effective treatment programs tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring prompt referrals to appropriate community resources and services.
• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships built on trust, acceptance, and mutual respect, crucial for effective treatment outcomes.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services through continuous feedback and adapt interventions as necessary to improve client responses.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Oversee an appropriate caseload, ensuring all clients receive the attention and care they need, and make adjustments to your practice as circumstances evolve.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients tackling behavioral mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other life challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the overall mission of client care and organizational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on clients struggling with anxiety and other mental health challenges, including mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Given our detox center's environment, you will frequently support clients through transitional phases of recovery, guiding them in developing sustainable coping strategies. Working with a diverse demographic, you will encounter various backgrounds, experiences, and cultural perspectives, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in behavioral mental health is preferred, specifically in treatment modalities related to anxiety, mood disorders, substance dependence, and crisis intervention.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in addiction recovery and treatment settings is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
