About the Organization

Antrum Physical Therapy is a private, therapist-owned practice committed to the holistic health and wellness of our patients. Our ethos centers on combining a deep-rooted love for physical therapy with scientific expertise, which allows us to deliver a standard of care that is both compassionate and innovative. With multiple locations across the United States, we pride ourselves on forming genuine relationships with our patients, ensuring they feel supported on their journey to recovery.

The clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitative tools and technologies, creating an environment where you can practice with efficiency and efficacy. Our culture promotes continuous learning and mutual support, making it an invigorating place to develop your skills and network with fellow healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to treat patients effectively.
  • Document treatment procedures, progress notes, and overall patient responses accurately to track outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary.
  • Reassess patients regularly to redefine therapeutic goals and modify treatment approaches as needed, ensuring optimal recovery paths for each individual.
  • Guide and train patients, caregivers, and family members on appropriate exercises, use of assistive devices, and self-care techniques to foster independence.
  • Stay current with developments in physical therapy by attending workshops, reading relevant publications, and participating in professional organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In our energetic outpatient office, you will work primarily with an adult population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Your holistic approach will assess not only the physical aspects of recovery but also consider psychological factors impacting each patient’s journey, ensuring a comprehensive care regimen that celebrates their individuality.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid professional license to practice physical therapy in the State of New Jersey.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for patient interactions and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in documenting patient encounters and maintaining electronic health records.
  • A commitment to providing empathetic and patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of clinical experience is required, enabling you to apply knowledge effectively and handle diverse patient cases with confidence.
  • Experience in outpatient therapy settings is advantageous and will enhance your ability to adapt quickly within our practice environment.
  • While previous home care experience may be helpful, it is not required; your commitment and willingness to learn will be strongly valued.
