    Job Summary

    Assist Supervisor in planning work assignments and monitoring work in addition to performing routine and special cleaning procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors.
    • Hang cubicle and window curtains.
    • Utilize paging system and spectra link phones.
    • Utilize HEV system.
    • Routinely clean isolation rooms.
    • Help with inventory and control of supplies.
    • Laundries mops, rags and specialty items.
    • Ability to inspect areas of responsibility for quality of cleanliness.
    • Transport beds, mattresses, and bed extenders to and from units and complete necessary paperwork for transport.
       

    Requirements 

    HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instruction. 1-2 Years’ Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
