About the Position

Seeking a Director of Finance to help scale and lead the finance function during a period of significant growth. This individual will serve as both a strategic finance partner and operational finance leader, overseeing FP&A, accounting oversight, financial reporting, and financial infrastructure development.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate at both strategic and execution levels, ensuring strong financial discipline, accurate reporting, and scalable processes while supporting executive decision-making and long-term business planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

• Develop and maintain SaaS financial models and operating performance metrics

• Partner cross-functionally with commercial, product, and engineering teams to support growth planning and resource allocation

• Drive monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level financial insights

• Oversee accounting operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and subscription revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)

• Manage internal accounting resources and external service providers

• Build scalable financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and operational finance processes

• Support audit, tax, and compliance requirements in partnership with external advisors

• Assist with investor reporting, fundraising support, and strategic financial initiatives

• Evaluate opportunities to improve unit economics, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency

• Support hiring and development of the finance organization as the company scales

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience across finance, FP&A, and accounting

• Demonstrated experience supporting or overseeing accounting close cycles and controllership functions

• Strong knowledge of SaaS financial metrics and subscription-based revenue models

• Experience building and improving financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks

• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities

• Experience working in high-growth or technology-enabled business environments strongly preferred

• Familiarity with modern finance and accounting systems and workflow tools

• Strong communication skills with ability to translate financial data into business insights

• Experience supporting board reporting, fundraising, or investor relations is a plus

• Prior team leadership or interest in building and managing finance teams preferred

• Exposure to international operations, multi-entity environments, or intercompany transactions is a plus
