Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of a broad portfolio of high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal process (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs) used in virtually all types of electronic equipment, dedicated to solve the toughest engineering challenges. We enable our customers to interpret the world around us by intelligently bridging the physical and digital worlds through devices technologies that sense, measure, power, control and connect.
ADI is looking for strongly motivated peoples, ready to improve their knowledge of technologic product. Peoples that are looking forward to being part of development of new devices, showing interest and active cooperation from early stage of new product definition to final customer support through promotional and customer training phases.
Position Overview:
Candidates will define and develop new power modules for Cloud and Data Center Market. The job requires solid analog and digital power systems design with commensurate laboratory skills. Additional job responsibilities include writing circuit documentation and application notes. Clear and concise communications skills are also essential.
More specifically, the candidate needs to contribute to the following areas:
  • New Power Module Development
    • Verify the architecture and power solution through behavioral simulations.
    • Design and debug of new power module
    • Perform dedicated functional test on new products in development to identify bugs and limitations
  • Development of Reference Designs and Collaterals
    • Generate and validate reference designs for system verification.
    • Develop design collaterals to assist customers with designs, such as datasheets, evaluation kit manuals application notes, layout guidelines.
    • Performing verification and testing of evaluation kits, and generating evaluation reports for customers
  • Team support
    • Support FAEs and remote Application Teams
    • Support Troubleshooting of difficult or unusual technical problems
    • Suggest product and application improvements.

Education
BSEE (or equivalent) required.
Preferred MSEE (or equivalent).
Required Qualifications
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Understanding of circuit simulation
  • Experience debugging circuits.
  • Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
  • Can work both independently and with a cross-functional team.
  • Strong knowledge of: Power conversions topology. Control architecture, stability issue and protection strategy
  • High efficiency power converter circuit design. Schematic, layout main requirements, simulation model

Required Lab equipment user experience.
  • Use of laboratory equipment's such as: oscilloscopes, wave generators, power supply, electronic load, DAC.
  • Familiarity with test automation

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $100,266 to $137,892.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
